2025 11 17 Architensions participates in the 4th Porto Design Biennale, titled “Time is Present: Designing the Common”

Exhibited at the Casa do Design, Matosinhos, PT, and curated by Angela Rui and Matilde Losi, “Architecture as commoning practice” is an ongoing research that stems from community engagement, economic models, collaboration, teaching, symposia, and built architectures. Three projects are presented that rely on the practice of commoning to enact new spatial possibilities, typological hacking, and social entanglements. Each project taps into local resources, social and physical, to transform spaces and places. A collective housing in Yangon, the pavilions in San Ferdinando, and an installation in Coachella all empower the communities that inhabit them. Read more here
