2025 11 25 New Release: “Architecture as Commoning Practice” for ZicZic Edizioni

The book presents Architensions’ research, reframing the notion of the commons and the collective from a transdisciplinary lens, examining how commoning practices shape the urban fabric and the spaces of the built environment. The book takes the small town of San Ferdinando, Calabria, in Italy, as a case study, addressing contemporary issues of equity, climate, and labor through a vision plan that guides the town’s development. The book includes contributions by Anna Puigjaner and Guillermo Lopez of MAIO Architects, Hilary Sample of MOS Architects, Alessandro Orsini and Nick Roseboro of Architensions, Valerio Franzone, Angela Alissa Keele, and Marcelo López-Dinardi.
