2026 11 02 The Playground, Coachella 2022 featured in “The Unbearable Heaviness of the Light Frame” at Pratt School of Architecture

The Playground, Coachella 2022, is featured among 32 practices exhibiting various light-frame architectural interventions. The curators Andrew Holder, James Wood, and Alex Tahinos ask, “How is the light frame being put to such heavy ends?” We posit that the light frame is not necessarily about making architecture lighter, but about reconsidering what architecture is responsible for carrying.
